Long gone are the days of a torch simply being a source of light – these next gen torches are adapted with a technologically advanced intelligent onboard system that enables the fire fighter, law enforcement official or Chemical Engineer to perform their duties with confidence knowing the system will ensure their safety. These torches can be utilized in highly explosive environments including Petrochemical Facilities, Sugar Manufacturing Plants, Breakfast Cereal Facilities, Explosives Manufacturing and fire-fighting where the fire fighter is exposed to combustible or explosive gases and chemicals. Other features include adjustable lighting intensity to preserve battery life, a unique swivel head and runtime indicator while on charge.
Integrum has supplied these torches to the City of Cape Town and the Overstrand municipality – they performed exceptionally well whilst in use during the Knysna Fires. The battery life is approximately 3 years and the torches are manufactured with thermoplastic resin that does not shatter or crack when dropping it from heights up to 4 meters!
Another feature we love is the unique charger – once mounted to a wall or desktop it reduces theft by 100% as it is not possible to charge the torch without the charger.
